In online gambling, you cannot be considered as a real winner if you don’t know how to manage your money very well. Thus, online casino gambling money management is deemed to be necessary. There are actually ways on how to manage your gambling money well to be a true winner in the world of online casino games. These ways are important to reduce your losses as well as increase your winnings. After all, no one wants to be a loser in any casino games.

One way in which you can manage your gambling money is by way of doing good bets. You should avoid the unreasonable and foolish betting. This is due to the fact that irrational betting could result to a loss on the next hand of game. Hence, it is preferable to be contented if ever you have already won enough if not, little money. This is a good thing to do to gain and win a session. In addition, you just have to stay cool and rational on the course of a casino game.

Furthermore, you have to put in mind to play with the amount of money which you can afford to lose. It is somehow essential to decide first if how much money you want to commit before playing any casino game. You can also allot a budget as your gambling money. In point of fact, most gamblers call such budget as entertainment allowance. In this way, you cannot be tempted to deposit more money because if you do, then it’s the start of a dark luck in the field of casino playing.

Moreover, you have to be alert at all times when playing casino games. This is essential for you to avoid any mistakes that you may commit. Besides, playing while you are feeling either bored or tired can make your game plan a mess which can then result to the game loss. Thus, you have to add further excitement to your playing strategy once you feel bored.

Also, you have to have some sort of strategies to make sure that you will go home as a winner. There are times when you need to lessen your bets after you have won a round. This is due to the fact that if you hold onto a constant betting, then you are more likely to lose above average. Hence, you have to divide your bets into halves so that if ever you lose, at least you still have some money earned. After all, online casino gambling money management has something to do with minimizing your loss to make you a sure winner in the tricky games of casino.

Indeed, money management is important in any online casino games to play safe. This is essential for you to be able to have less defeats and more wins. The aforementioned ways will definitely help you in managing all your bankrolls while playing casino. After all, no one wants to have their bankrolls gone. Hence, you really have to get rid of and get away with some of the bankroll killers in the world of online casino gambling.

It seems like things only continue to get worse for online poker and the gambling industry in general. Back at the beginning of July 2005, the World Poker Tour Enterprise took their company public. During the IPO, over ten million shares of the company traded for as much as $29.50 a share. Now, fast forward to the beginning of July 2008, and shares of the WPTE were trading for one dollar. And to top things off, less than twenty-five thousand shares were being traded per day. For over a month, shares of WPTE have failed to close above one dollar.

Unfortunately for the WPTE, one of the rules of being a publicly listed company on the NASDAQ is that shares of a company cannot close under one dollar for thirty days in a row. Because the WPTE has failed to comply with the rules of the NASDAQ, they received a warning letter on August 14th. The letter, which is called a NASDAQ Staff Determination Letter, stated that the WPTE has exactly one hundred and eighty days to comply with the NASDAQ’s rules. In order to be compliant, shares of their company must close above one dollar for at least ten days in a row.

So, what happens if the WPTE fails to meet this requirement within the next one hundred and eighty days? There are a actually a few courses of action they can take. Like many other companies, they could continue to be traded on the OTC market, which is much riskier market for investors due to the lack of regulation. To avoid this scenario and remain on the NASDAQ, the WPTE may try a reverse stock split (which would double the price of their shares), or they may continue to emphasize their new business strategies in an attempt to boost the confidence of investors.

Fortunately, a company in Austria comes with good news for all of the poker players that have been impacted by this legislation. Heinz Hoja of Austria is launching a new poker community called PlayPing. The new site is based around connecting online poker players from all around the world (including the US) into a great Web 2.0 community. One of the things that makes PlayPing different from all the other online poker communities is the fact that it provides the members with one click access to over 348 radio stations from all around the world.

The founder and owner of PlayPing, Heinz Hoja , has stated: “Some time ago we realized the need for a gambling community setup that goes beyond the sole functionality of an ordinary forum. When President Bush signed the new law on online gambling, which outlawed financial transactions for online gambling in games of chance, we knew then that our time had come.”

The community allows the players to communicate with each other through different methods and provides member benefits such as a live chat, web space for a personal profile, private messaging box, an instant messenger system, a welcome gift and picture sharing. Although PlayPing.com is filled with great features, it is completely free for anyone to join. Whether you are an experienced online poker player or simply interested in seeing what all the excitement is about, you can become a member of the PlayPing community.

PlayPing is actually an addition to an existing network of online gambling themed sites. The network that PlayPing will join consists of two other websites: PerfectBetting (online sports betting) and EternalGambling (online casino reviews).

Poker game simulations and other methods of playing poker away from the traditional table setup has become quite frequent over the past couple of years. With the growing popularity of the World Series of Poker and other tournaments such as the World Poker Tour, it is no surprise that software developers are looking at new games and ways to allow poker fans to enjoy their game. Internet gaming is already a booming industry. Now on the rise is phone gaming made easier by being able to access the internet via ones cellphone. Having access to the internet on your phone allows you to access your email, websites and facilitates the download of music, games and much more. The iPhone, first released by Apple in 2007 is a step up in cellular phone technology. This affected the entertainment industry as well as persons are able to do much more on their iPhone than with other types of phones. The iPhone continues to be a revolutionary brand and displays this through the innovation of its creators, Griffin Technology. With the release of the third generation iPhone there will be a Vegas style five card poker application available exclusively at the Apple application store. The game works just as you would expect a poker game to run.

This is not the only poker application on the iPhone. There has always been a Texas Hold ‘em application on the iPhone along with several other card games. However, this poker game is limited. Now however, Real Dice has launched a multiplayer championship poker game for this latest iPhone. The game is based on the Texas Hold ‘em model and players are actually able to play against other players online. Up to ten players may play at the same table and live chat is available. Persons can link up with the facebook version of the game, which is free, and play against their friends on Facebook.

The third generation iPhone was just recently released in the United States but already the poker applications are proving themselves to be favorites. This just goes to show how popular poker has become and that software developers realize this. Poker enthusiasts hope that this will cause persons to view the game in a more serious manner, especially professional poker players. It is also hoped that these new updated game options will help to increase the popularity of the game.

It is the modified system of the game was worked behind the uprising popularity of the poker. Players found it is interesting and the 52 number of cards gives more scope to many numbers of players, and naturally more and more players are coming in the field. The main attraction in this game is to win some bet, and when the players see that if they employ little intellect in this game they would win maximum amount of money.

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">Â

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">In the 20 card play collecting the final formation or the flash was difficult, but in the 52 card play collecting progressive number of card was not so difficult. So, on the other hand this 52 card playing provides more scope of winning bets. They can win a small bet very easily by collecting three or four progressive number or even number of cards.

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">Â

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">Gradually this game attracts more and more intellect people in its field; they produced some strange formation and the system of the game as well as they become astute player in the art of card playing. The card game poker heightens its state and position form a mere game of gambling to the game of intellects. The popularity was so high that some lovers play this in their home instead of playing with bets. Poker would be a part of their enjoyment and refreshment and showing their acumen in a distinct field.

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">Â

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">With the increasing number of card players the gradually young game had reached many destinations and breaks many boundaries. Not in United States but the card game poker crosses the sea and becomes popular among the British people too. We found a mention of poker game in the writing of famous British novelist George Eliot in 1855, as she was written one night we attempted “brag” or “pocher”.

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">Â

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">Â Historians find another source of history of playing in England, this source is very exiting. It is not only a source but it is almost a story. The name of one person is joined with the fist beginning of poker in the English society. The credit of beginning of poker playing in the English society is totally goes to General Schenck, who was an American ambassador to Britain. We found a letter of General Schenck written to General Young of Cincinnati that he would go to celebrate a weekend retreat in the Somerset country home. It was also written that in this weekend he gave some idea of poker playing to the British people and taught the rules of this strange American game.

Ferguson, Bloch, Seed, Little and Hershiser had made it to the quarterfinal round but only Ferguson and Bloch had advance to the next round. Hershiser, a crowd favorite lost early on but was able to eliminate first world-class players, which include Freddy Deeb, Ted Forrest and Allen Cunningham.

The crowd was quite disappointed by elimination of Hershiser but according to him, he feels proud of his performance in this tournament. As a closing move, Hershiser signed his ball and give it Bloch to the delight of the crowd.

Those eliminated during the quarterfinals received seventy five thousand dollars while those lucky that reached the semifinals took home one hundred twenty five thousand dollars.

It was Huck Seed who first reached the semifinal round. In the past, Seed had also advanced in the semifinals of 2006 NBC Heads-Up but was defeated then by Chris Ferguson. In the match of Hershiser and Bloch, the latter had an easy advantage in the early game but Hershiser draw ahead with A-5 that had bested Q-J combination of Bloch.

But the latter part of the game, Bloch had finally end the run of Hershiser with A-9 pre-flop. Hershiser then later signed his ball and handed it to Bloch to the envy of every collector.

But the most heated quarterfinal game took place between Little and Ferguson. This is the first even appearance for Little while Ferguson had advance in the past two outings of NBC Heads-Up.

In the game, Little had an early lead of the match and had a six to one advantage but Ferguson had managed to fight back with double-ups. Ferguson had pocket nines against pocket fours of Little. In the end, Little’s chip disadvantage allowed Ferguson to grab the win and go straight to semifinals.

The game match between Phil Ivey and Gus Hansen, it was Ivey who had the advantage from the start to finish of the game. After drawing unlucky cards, Ivey finally won the match. During the semifinals, Ferguson had an early advantage against Ivey and after forty minutes of playing time he won the match and will make his third appearance in the NBC Heads-Up.

Meanwhile, Seed and Bloch poker match was relatively close match until Bloch made an edge before the final hand. Chris Ferguson and Andy Bloch received cool prizes and will face each other in the much awaited poker finals.

This poker match is expected to be one of the most exciting matches in the NBC National Heads-Up Finals.

It can be remembered that in 1990’s both Ferguson and Bloch had discovered that they had use same computer simulated techniques to find out the rank of hands needed in heads-up game. Aside from their separate mathematical biases, both players are related in a popular poker site.

Chasing a flush online, Sometimes the numbers just don’t add up!

There’s an age old debate in poker - should you chase a flush or not? First of all we need to define what we mean here by “chasing a flush online”.

Chasing anything in Texas Holdem poker is the practice of betting to stay in a hand in the hope that you will make a better hand, even although you might have absolutely nothing at the time and you can. So chasing a flush means betting that you will get the card or card that you need to complete your flush hand on the turn or river. You can’t chase a flush before the flop because at that time you only have two cards so the flush isn’t on.

So let’s say you’re playing one of the big poker sites online, you’ve been dealt the Ace and 9 of spades and you’ve paid to see the flop.

The flop is 2s 7s Kd and one of your opponents comes out betting strongly with a fair sized raise, what do you do?

First of all ask yourself what kind of hand you’re up against. The possibilities are triples, another flush draw, a pair of Kings or a complete bluff, so as it stands you’re only winning against the bluff with your Ace. On the other hand if you hit a spade in the last two cards you have the nut flush and could only lose to a full house or four of a kind.

On the face of it you might assume that statistically you have about a 50-50 chance of hitting your spade, after all there’s two cards to come and four suits so there must be about a half chance, right?

Wrong!

You already have two of the spades in your hand and there’s another two showing on the table, so you know five cards and four of them are spades. That means you have nine spades left available out of the 47 cards you haven’t seen, which is only a 42% chance of catching your flush.

If you do bet on the turn and don’t make your flush, what do you do then? You have probably now become pot-committed, you have put so much into the pot that you might as well bet again on the river unless there’s a big raise or all-in against you, but now your chances of making the flush have dropped dramatically to only 21%.

But what of that other factor, the mysterious internet poker syndrome? What I mean by that is although you statistically have a 42% chance of making a flush, is that what actually happens in reality? If you played the same hand at the same online poker table 100 times would you get a flush 42 times? From my personal experience I doubt it. Flushes seem to come around a lot less often than 42 out of 100 times!

That’s just my own opinion and I’m sure the poker sites would tell you a different story, but the way I see it is 42% is the very BEST you’re ever going to get and you may well have a lot less chance than that of hitting your flush.

Bottom line? Chasing a flush online is a very risky strategy that sucks you in and over commits you, without giving you enough of a chance of pulling out the winning hand.

Many players, who are part of the cash games, feel that these games are based less on luck and more on skill. According to them this is the opposite in the tournaments in the poker. Many famous and experienced cash game players feel that you will have to put in more effort to be a winner at cash games.

<span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">They feel it is unlike tournaments, where all you need to do is get lucky with tosses. A lot o f people burn their fingers trying to play cash games, as they are very inexperienced. You need to be a professional and a businessman when it comes to wining at cash games. You will then understand how you can maximize the income with the games.

<span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">Following some good strategies will help you win at these poker games. This play will be unlike a tournament, and you are allowed to choose the table where you can put in your money. While you begin, you should pick the right table. Playing tight will depend on the situation. Each session will be different from the rest.

<span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">You will have to check your style of play. You will also have to look at whether you are more conservative, and whether you are shorthanded or prefer heads up. You should use the selection of the game as best as you can. If you want strategies, then you should pick out the best games. You will be on your way to success if you do this.

<span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">When it comes to the math as well as the psychology, there will be a lot of differences with the tournaments as well as cash games with the playing style. You can re buy in the cash games, but you cannot do so in tournaments. If a player loses, then he has to leave the game. Players can buy again if they think they are wrong in the cash games.

<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"" lang="EN-US">If you have a limit, you should be bankrolled well. You should be prepared with a bankroll to buy ten buy ins before you begin playing cash games. This will be a good way to back you in the game. This will allow you to play consistently, as even when you are beaten, your money will still have a chance to come around.

Online Poker has been in vogue since the 1990s but it has only been towards the end of the 1990s that online poker has become a multi million dollar industry. Since slot machines are more profitable than poker, conventional casinos (also known as brick and mortar or B and M casinos) tend to have more slot machines than poker playing tables. Therefore, online poker is where a lot of poker players ply their trade. Also, with online playing, the intimidating atmosphere is done away with.

In brick and mortar casinos, one can only increase one’s earnings by increasing one’s limit. However in online poker, the players can play more tables to increase their earnings. Unlike brick and mortar casinos, online poker rooms allow one to play on more than one table. Some online poker sites allow players to play at 4 to 10 tables simultaneously by viewing each in a separate window. This can be illustrated by an example. Suppose a winning player makes $10 per 100 hands in a low limit game. This would mean getting about $4 per hour in a brick and mortar casino and after paying tips to the dealer, one may hardly break even but in online poker, one could technically play at 4 tables at once and if one has the same win rate, then at 60 hands per hour one would earn $24 every hour. Therefore one online poker tip is to play at multiple tables at once in order to increase one’s winnings. Of course, one needs to be sure of one’s abilities before playing more than one game at once. If one’s concentration breaks easily, then it may not be wise to play multiple poker tournaments at once.

One of the benefits of online poker is that one can have really low table limits. Thus, for novices, it is a good online poker tip to start with really low table limits like $0.1 or $0.2. In brick and mortar casinos, the lowest table limit is generally $1.

For more online poker tips, one can visit poker forums and play simulation games that are offered by several poker sites where neither does one win anything nor does one lose anything. Poker games with freerolls (or where there is no entry fee) are also offered by some online poker sites. Online poker has replaced brick and mortar casino poker within the last ten years. It’s a good idea for novices now to start with online poker and stay there as the earnings are quite high.

The 2007 World Series of Poker has come to an end after over a month of one poker game after another. The stakes all boiled down to the final game, with the winner taking the generous $8,250,000 prize. This year’s top winner, Jerry Yang, was crowned this year’s king of poker.

That’s not all that the ecstatic Jerry Yang won, however. An incredible platinum and diamond bracelet was given to him as a gift, as well as a designer watch. Both are considered extremely valuable. Jerry Yang wasn’t the only one to walk away with a large sum of money-the top 9 players all got a big stake in the prize. Second and third place winners Tuan Lam and Raymond Rahm both happily walked out with multi-million dollar prizes.

So what exactly does a guy do with over $8 million dollars? Jerry Yang claims that he has given 10% to the Make a Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, and Feed the Children charities. At 10%, Jerry Yang has already given out almost $1 million to charities. And he didn’t stop there- he sought to rethink his working status. Previously a psychologist and social worker, he decided to put in his 2 week’s notice in. As for his wife, who is a blackjack dealer, she has already quit by Jerry Yang’s request.

For the future, Jerry Yang claims that he wishes to continue his poker career. He has shown interest in becoming a general spokesperson for poker, something like an ambassador. If time will permit, we will see. For he has plans to travel to countries where there is poverty, troubles, and disaster. He has shown interest in becoming a missionary.

But how does a social worker manage to storm the World Series of Poker? Jerry Yang claims that he has only been playing for a couple of years, but he has read books and has educated himself on the sport. This can be apparent in the final round, where he was down on chips at the start. To make up for the big loss in chips, he played aggressively- even bluffing his way to the top of the chip count. Through some good hands and good bluffs, he eventually became the chip leader and won the Series. Not bad for someone who watches poker on TV, reads a few books every now and then, an hits the poker tables at the local Casino part time.

The 2007 World Series of Poker is now at an end, and Jerry Yang has a full year to celebrate his title- the best of the best. He is celebrating one of the biggest returns on investment that anyone can achieve- he paid just $225 for his ticket, and got $8.25 million in return. Poker is a risky sport, but with payouts like that, it inspires thousands of people to try and make it big just like Jerry Yang. Keep an eye out for Jerry in future tournaments- he is going to continue his career that enabled him to help the less fortunate people in life, for which he is very thankful.
